The Salcantay trek is one of the most famous treks in the Cusco region and is a great alternative hike which will take you to sacred Incan city, Machupicchu. On this great hike, you will be able to see the second highest snowcapped mountain, Salcantay (6270 m) and his neighbor, Umantay 5700m. On these four days of hiking you will also have opportunity to see beautiful landscapes with a biodiversity of flora and fauna and sleep in the middle of the sacred mountains. After that will still have about 40 more minutes continue in our bus to get to the beginning of our hike, called Marqoqasa (3200m), where our horse men are going to wait for us. Make sure to repackage your backpack, because our horses will help us with five to seven kilos weight of your luggage free of tax.
